Featured Recipe - Pecan Praline Cake

Ingredients: 1 cup buttermilk; 1 stick butter; 2 eggs; 2 cups firmly packed brown sugar; 2 cups flour; 1 tsp. baking soda; 2 tsp. vanilla.
Icing: 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar; 1/4 cup sugar; 1/4 cup butter; 1/4 cup whipping cream; 1/2 cup pecans, chopped.
Combine the buttermik and butter and cook on low heat until butter has melted.  Beat eggs with brown sugar.  Add buttermilk to egg mixture.  Add flour, baking soda and vanilla.  Pour into greased bundt pan.  Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.  Let cook before turning out onto plate.
Icing - combine first 4 ingredients in a heavy saucepan.  Cook over low heat, stirring constantlyuntil mixture reaches soft ball stage (240 degrees).  Remove from heat, stir in pecans and let set until it begins to thicken.  Pour over the cake.
